Abstract

Artificial intelligence has emerged as a transformative tool in the educational field, offering innovative approaches that seek to improve students' academic performance. This research aimed to analyze how the use of adaptive learning platforms based on artificial intelligence influences the improvement of students' academic performance. For this purpose, a deductive approach was used and an exhaustive documentary analysis was carried out, including a review of previous studies. As for the results, it was observed that students who used artificial intelligence systems as a support resource achieved significantly higher grades (average of 9) compared to those who did not employ these tools, suggesting that the personalization of learning through artificial intelligence has a positive effect on academic performance. In conclusion, the implementation of adaptive learning platforms not only optimizes teaching, but also promotes educational equity, highlighting the need to adequately train teachers in the use of these technologies to maximize their benefits in the learning process.
