Abstract

The study evaluated the effectiveness of an oil formulated with lavender and hazelnut to prevent stretch marks in weightlifters, focusing on improving skin hydration and elasticity. The methodology included observation, surveys, interviews, and product testing with five participants. Changes in skin texture, moisture, and oiliness were monitored through periodic evaluations, progress notes, and focus groups. The results showed that 80% of participants reported improvements in skin texture and appearance, rating their experience as excellent. The formula provided benefits such as elasticity and smoothness, which are key factors in preventing stretch marks during rapid muscle growth. However, in 80% of cases, no improvements were observed in preexisting conditions such as keratosis pilaris, highlighting the need to incorporate additional active ingredients. Hydration was effective but limited in duration for some users, with 40% reporting hydration lasting more than three hours. It was concluded that the formula has high preventive potential, especially with consistent use, and secondary benefits such as muscle relaxation due to the lavender scent. This proactive approach enhances the quality of life and emotional well-being of athletes. However, it is recommended to optimize the formula for greater effectiveness in hydration and treatment of severe skin conditions.
